Additional Outpatient Services
Individual Counseling for Children & Teens
Individual teletherapy provides support for youth ages 10 to 17 that inspires change and promotes a better quality of life. Individual therapy can help children and teens overcome obstacles affecting their well-being, develop coping skills, improve decision-making and self-awareness, work toward recovery from trauma and grief, set and achieve goals and improve overall functioning.
Family Counseling
Family teletherapy helps families address specific issues affecting health and functioning. It provides support for children ages 10 to 17 and for parents affected by mental illness, while helping families strengthen problem-solving, communication and coping skills. It also supports families working through trauma, grief and loss, anger and stress.
Psychiatry and Medication Management
Psychiatry services support children and teens who may need diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning and medication management as part of their outpatient care. These services should be positioned as part of the broader outpatient support available through Wyoming Behavioral Institute and coordinated with therapy or structured programming when clinically appropriate.
