What Is the Pathways Residential Treatment Program?

Pathways is a psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) designed for girls ages 10–17 who need a higher level of care than outpatient or short-term inpatient treatment can provide.

Residential treatment allows girls to live in a therapeutic setting while receiving structured mental health care, education and life-skills development.

The program typically lasts several months, allowing residents time to stabilize, process trauma, develop coping strategies and prepare for successful reintegration into their home and community.

A Trauma-Informed Approach to Treatment

The Pathways program is built on a trauma-informed philosophy that recognizes how past experiences can influence emotional and behavioral responses.

Our clinical team works to understand each resident as an individual while helping them build trust, develop emotional regulation skills and begin the healing process.

Treatment combines structure, clear expectations and therapeutic support to help residents feel safe while working toward meaningful change.
